ARTSPACE
AND THE ART OF GARDENING.
ArtSpace held their second Contemporary Art Fair in
the Church Rooms over the weekend of 21st and 22nd June. Held in conjunction

non-members exhibited an array of original paintings, prints, photographs,

‘ArtSpace
in Miniature’ - the 9th show at the Charnwood Museum, Loughborough
- 13th March to 20th April. ‘ArtSpace
in Miniature’ provided a new challenge for the 14 artists, including
painters, printmakers, sculptors, photographers and ceramicists, taking
part in this stimulating exhibition. Familiar with working on a far
larger scale, the artists presented their ideas under strict size
limitations, with no work being larger than A5. In some cases, the
restricted dimensions encouraged experimentation and there is evidence
of new personal avenues being explored, resulting in an original,
stimulating and diverse collection of works.
Latest
ArtSpace exhibition, NEW HORIZONS, voted 'BEST EVER' by Mike Jones,

Eaves ART FAIR a great success !
Artspace

With sales reaching four figures it is hoped to make the fair an annual

from a broad range of artists. This years fair featured works from
ArtSpace members, but ArtSpace hope to open this event to non-members
as well next year. Watch this space ...
The most important initiatives
and the most fruitful collaborations often arise from an everyday
situation. This was the case with this challenging and rewarding
cultural exchange project which culminated this summer with an outstanding
exhibition by the Italian artists in the generator gallery at Loughborough
University. Click the heading to visit the exhibition on-line.
